The Bartlett Planning Commission has recommended approval of key planning documents for two significant mixed-use developments along the city’s U.S. 70 corridor, marking continued progress in Bartlett’s residential and commercial growth.
The Ramble on Summer project, located at 7157 U.S. 70 near Yale Road, received a recommendation for its master plan. The proposed development includes commercial space, a restaurant, retail opportunities and 36 townhomes. The project is planned in multiple phases and is designed to introduce a blend of residential and commercial uses to the area.
The Planning Commission also recommended construction plans and a final plan for Union Depot First Addition, the next phase of development on the former Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home property. The 34-acre project is planned to include multifamily housing, townhomes, supporting infrastructure and future commercial development.
Initial construction at Union Depot First Addition will focus on roadways, utilities and transportation improvements, including a new traffic signal connection to U.S. 64. Future phases are expected to bring additional residential and commercial opportunities to the site.
Both projects now move to the Bartlett Board of Mayor and Aldermen for consideration. If approved, they will represent continued investment along one of the city’s key development corridors and support Bartlett’s ongoing efforts to expand housing, retail and mixed-use development options.
