Memphis’ restaurant boom isn’t just city-centric — suburban Shelby County is quietly reloading. As 2025 draws to a close, Bartlett and Millington are welcoming four new dining spots that combine local investment with national-brand confidence.
On Stage Road in Bartlett, Taste of Paradise Indian Buffet & Grill is stepping into the former Santa Ana space, backed by the team behind the new Al-Aqsa International Market — bringing global flavors and renewed foot traffic to a once-quiet stretch. Meanwhile, Wimpy’s Burgers and Fries is relocating just a mile down U.S. 64, debuting Dec. 8 in a move that keeps loyal customers close and gives a vacant building new life.
Chipotle is also staking a claim: a new 2,330-square-foot location (drive-thru + patio) opens Dec. 18 on Stage Road, underscoring Bartlett’s growing pull for national chains. And in Millington, On The Rox Bar & Grill is set to open Dec. 31 on Navy Road — adding a comfort-food hangout to a corridor growing with nearby residential demand.
These openings are more than just dining headlines. They’re tangible signs of economic momentum: helping stabilize retail centers, re-employ local workers, and inject fresh energy into suburban commercial zones just in time for 2026.
